The Sacrament of Reconciliation is one of the most unique and beautiful aspects of Catholicism. Jesus Christ, in His abundant love and mercy, established the Sacrament of Confession, so that we as sinners can obtain forgiveness for our sins and reconcile with God and the Church. The sacrament “washes us clean,” and renews us in Christ.
Reconciliation is at 3:45 pm on Saturdays at the weekend Mass location or by appointment with Fr. Mike Kellogg.
As you enter the church, the doorway behind the music area choir chairs leads you in to the Adoration Chapel. Through that area there is a doorway that leads into the reconciliation area.
First Reconciliation Preparation
Preparation for the celebration of First Reconciliation begins in the Fall for children in grade 2 (or older children who have not yet celebrated their First Reconciliation) and their families.
Preparation for and celebration of this sacrament is a prerequisite for the celebration of First Eucharist.
As you are in the main area of the church looking at the altar, to the left is a hallway with the entrance to the Sacristy on the right. Enter the Sacristy and the reconciliation screen or chairs are to your left.
