This Month's Sponsor

Thank you for your sponsorship of our parish website.

The Parish Council recently approved the recommendations from the Strategic Planning Committee for the next set of goals, objectives and action plans for the parish based on the results of the Vibrancy Tool that was completed by the parish three years ago.  The goals, objectives and action steps are not new but a continuation--the next steps--of the goals, etc. from the previous year.

For the complete list, please go to the Strategic Planning page.

Our advertisers make our bulletin possible at no cost to the parish.  Please let them know your appreciation!  If you or your company would like to place an ad, please contact the parish office.

Strategic Planning

Each year the Buildings and Grounds committee submits a budget for the upcoming year.  And each year there are items that end up on the "Wish List"--projects and/or repairs  that are needed, will be needed at some future point, or would be nice to have--all of which cannot be accomplished within the normal operating budget.

For the complete list, click here.

Want to hear again the message or point made during a homily?  Or maybe you were not able to attend a Sunday Mass and want to hear the homily from that day.  You can by clicking

If you have missed any of the explanations presented by Father during our recent weekend liturgies regarding the various parts of our Mass, you can hear them here.

Spots are now available at both the Becker and Big Lake campuses that are in need of care and attention in order to keep our grounds clean and welcoming.

Come and See!

Alpha will meet you wherever you are in your faith walk – if you’re a parent trying to answer your child’s questions about God and heaven, if you’ve attended church your entire life but still feel like something’s missing, if you don’t have a relationship with God at all and would just like to learn more about Christianity – wherever you are – Alpha might have the answers for you.

Come and see what ALPHA is all about after Mass on Saturday, September 9, 6 pm and Sunday, September 10,11:30 am in Big Lake.  Donuts and coffee provided.

Small groups will start meeting the week of Sept. 17.

Communion to the Homebound

When a parish member is homebound and unable to attend Mass, we are looking for lay persons who will visit with them, bring them God’s Word, Holy Communion and be the continuing presence of the community of Mary of the Visitation.

If you are interested or want more information on the Ministry of Communion to the Homebound, contact the parish office at 763-447-3339.
