Lent Resources
Lent is the season in the Church dedicated to prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. It is a 40 day season that begins on Ash Wednesday and ends at sundown on Holy Thursday. It is a time for us to prepare our hearts to celebrate the Lord's Resurrection at Easter.

Fasting
We fast to things that take us away from God. When we fast from those things, it is a form of penance, reminding us to turn away from our sins and turn toward the Lord.

Almsgiving
As our motto states, we are called to be Christ for others. During Lent, we are called to focus intentionally on how we can serve our brothers and sisters through the giving of money or goods and serving those in need.
Rice Bowls
Eat less this Lent and add the money you would've spent on the food to your rice bowl. Catholic Relief Services (CRS) donates the money to help the fight against hunger around the world. Return your rice bowl by Holy Thursday.
Prayer
One of the facets of our daily life is prayer and during Lent, we are called to enrich and deepen our prayer life. Dig into Scripture, pray the rosary, or find a new way to devote yourself to the Lord.
Easter Egg Food Drive
Help the local food shelves by choosing a plastic egg after Mass and return the food/money donation by April 2.
