Donations Needed

Our Country Pantry needs lots of things!

  • Bake Sale – Donate sweet treats of all kinds. Bring your favorite or your specialties.

  • Canned Goods and Produce – Donate produce from your garden as well as jellies, jams, salsa and other items from your kitchen.

  • Craft Items – Share your talent by donating a NEW hand-made item that will be for sale at the Country Pantry.                                                           ( Please complete a donation slip for your item.)

  • Pie Shop – Donate your favorite pies – apple, cherry, peach, pecan, rhubarb,berry or your own favorite.                                                                     NO CREAM PIES. We will not have refrigeration.

 

Cake Walk - Maybe you can win a sweet treat

Donate cakes and cupcakes to this fun activity.

Keep in mind – the cakes will be outside and not refrigerated.

(Any items delivered on Saturday must be brought to Big Lake.)

 

Kids Games - These are the thigs we need

Bags of  “penny candy” – Things that will not melt

 

Gift Cards - new or regifted.... we won't tell

We are looking for Gift Cards from any store, restaurant, or experience. 

Clean out your junk drawer, wallet, or closet and find those old cards you never used.

 

Craft Beer - one, six, or a dozen

Do you have a favorite craft beer?  Well share it with us!

We are looking for single beers, six packs or even twelve packs of craft beer or
cider to build one amazing prize for one VERY lucky winner. 

 

Bottle Blast - A bottle filled with anything

Roll the dice and see which bottle you win:

a bottle of ketchup, shampoo, or barbecue sauce or a jar of salsa or pickles.

Get creative!  Find an empty bottle or jar and

put a prize inside and donate it to the festival.

 

Silent Auction - Baskets, coolers and so much more!

  • Themes – Get creative; Tool Time, Fishing Fun, Movie Night, Kitchen Gadgets, Lottery Tickets, Fun for Kids, Car Care, Beach Items, Sports Theme or BBQ, just to name a few.

  • At Your Service – Do you or anyone in your family own or work for a business that can donate a service? Can you mow a lawn, do some mending, or bake a sweet treat or a special meal?

  • Think Outside the Box – Do you have a camper or cabin on the lake that someone can use for a week or a weekend? Do you have tickets for the Twins, Lynx, Wild or The Guthrie Theatre you can donate?

  • Donate an Item – New items can also be donated to the Silent Auction, such as a cooler, a gift card, anything we can bundle into a great prize!

 

Volunteers 

People are what we need most.  Assistance is needed in the following areas:

  • Solicit Business Donations – Contact businesses for the Silent Auction or possible

       sponsorship of an event.  A list can be provided to you. 

  • Day of Event – Volunteer sign-up sheets for SeptemberFest will be available before and after all weekend Masses from August 18th until  September 15th. Sheets with specific time slots will be available for the activities. Sign up early and get your

       favorite activity and the best time slot.
