What an exciting day it was! Approximately 150 people of all ages helped with the Lenten Project held last Sunday. Due to the generosity of our parishioners, the following projects were completed:

  • 95 Blessing Bags – being donated to Catholic Charities

  • 39 Birthday Bags – being donated to the local food shelves in Big Lake and Becker

  • 20 Bags for Military Families – being distributed to a local family readiness group

  • 143 Easter Cards – being distributed at local nursing homes / care facilities

  • 300 Sandwiches – being delivered to the Sandwich Man who will deliver them to people who are homeless

  • 39 Fleece Tie Blankets – These blankets will be given to families who are planning a funeral or Father may take them when he visits people at the time of anointing.

  • Bundles of Love – Number of items prepared is undetermined at this time as items still need to be assembled—gift bags will be donated to families in need when they have a baby.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this project. It was a HUGE success!
